the guys have said in the past that they have considered it, but dont want the place to be fb.
i tried to convince them that they should let you put a smilie on a post. they liked the idea, but here we are.

it is my fave word as well.
once upon a time, when i was young, some kindly old gentleman was chiding me about my language.
me- hey, i have heard all those words, i say all those words, and i have even done most of those words. sorry not sorry.

And so misunderstood. Takes practice to properly and cleverly conjugate and or adapt.

I have found that some people should never use it. Just doesn't sound right coming from them. They do it all wrong.

Have to have an appreciation for the richness of the word.

But then I could be making excuses for my use of it.

The valentines seem to almost go there but they are per poster, not per post. And, of course, they are geared towards fund-raising for DU.

The DU Rec, IMHO, is just recommending that the article is worth perusing - not that its content matches my opinion or not. I'll Rec something that expresses a loathsome idea just because I think it merits reading.

I'd also like a way to say I agree or disagree with a particular post's contents, even the original one.

I guess I don't know fb or how to game these systems. I do know that many other tech forums supply these types of individual voting capabilities.

With the Robert Kraft revelations.

Not anything to with Kraft in particular, but, the realization that although a monumental moron, Trump is not an outlier.

Old Yeller is an average representative of his class. A class which has far too much power, influence, and exposure in a very demented reality created by the unquestioning and unthinking.

To claim fuckery is isomorphic to the complex field. What are the identity elements? Is it associative? Is it closed under the two operations? Etc.

I think he was both taken aback by the language and delighted at the mathematical discussion.
