Spicer says he'll cooperate with House investigation

BY BRETT SAMUELS - 03/05/19 10:17 AM EST

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday that he intends to cooperate with House Democrats' investigation into President Trump's administration, campaign and business, despite concerns it could be a "fishing expedition."

"I will do everything to facilitate this investigation and there’s nothing that I have to hide. So I want a swift conclusion to this whole thing as soon as possible," Spicer said on Fox News.

Spicer is one of 81 individuals and entities that the House Judiciary Committee served with document requests on Monday as part of its sprawling investigation.

"They have a constitutional right and responsibility to exhibit oversight over the executive branch," Spicer said of the investigation. "But going back through the president’s personal finances and history, you know, who knows how far, Seems a bit of an expedition as opposed to enacting agenda that they put the American people to be elected to govern on."

Guess he doesn't remember Kenneth Starr and the 80 million dollar Whitewater investigation of the Clintons.

Yeah, $80 MILLION DOLLARS - and ultimately charged for getting a BJ.

Makes you wonder how much we're gonna' pay for IQ45 screwing America....................
