was a particularly stupid and dangerous move, given the responsibility entailed by that job.

The trumper (sorry, I don't know his name) said something along the lines that Jared needed his security clearance for his work in the middle east. He didn't offer a reason for Ivanka needing hers.

Hence, Anderson referenced international expertise vis a vis Jared but he couldn't do that for Ivanka because no area of expertise was mentioned by the trumper for her.

If he would have asked what expertise does Jared and Ivanka have in anything I guess it may not have sounded sexist in my quote. It didn't sound sexist, because it wasn't, when heard in the context of the complete interview and exchange.

In other words, the reason he didn't ask "in anything" for Jared is because the trumper offered up the area he was claiming Jared had expertise in. Not so for Ivanka.
