A Couple Of Weeks Ago A New Football League Was Launched On TV.....

I believe they telecast two games that night. Since then I haven't heard a thing about this new league. Did it fold already?

AAF is not lighting my fire because it doesn't appear to be televised in my market, and, well, it's fucking baseball season!

Broadcast on either NFL Network, CBS Sports Network or TNT.

at the pub was the new pro league and not some old rebroadcast. He kept talking this league up, saying it wouldn't fade away like the alternates that have sprouted up before. I kept saying we'll see.

So all I know is they aired one last weekend.

I'll get to them once the winter sports like skiing and biathlon have concluded.

First impression was I didn't like the contrived rules changes, like eliminating kickoffs and giving a receiving team a 4th and 12 situation instead of opportunity to recover an onside kick.
