On Monday, Media Matters dropped a second load of clips of Tucker Carlson making controversial remarks and this time, the clips include Carlson spouting racist remarks.

The clips date from 2006 and 2011 and were from Carlson’s weekly call-in to the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, a popular shock jock show.

At one point, he suggested immigrants allowed into the country should be “hot” or “really smart” because lettuce pickers don’t build the country.

At another point, he insisted white men deserve credit for “creating civilization.”

He also remarked that Iraq was full of “primitive monkeys.”

“Iraq is a crappy place filled with a bunch of, you know, semiliterate primitive monkeys — that’s why it wasn’t worth invading,” he opined, blasting the people he insisted “don’t use toilet paper or forks” and suggested should just “shut the fuck up and obey.”

His wrath was not limited to Iraqis, however.

And this about Barack Obama: “Everybody knows that Barack Obama would still be in the state Senate in Illinois if he were white.”

Finally, in a tweeted out clip, Carlson also told radio host Bubba the Love Sponge: “I like you too … I actually mean it in a completely faggot way.”

Between 2006 and 2011, Fox News host Tucker Carlson spent approximately an hour a week calling in to the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, a popular shock jock radio program where he spoke with the hosts about a variety of cultural and political topics in often-vulgar terms. In addition to making many misogynistic remarks and sexual comments about underage girls, Carlson, who was hired by Fox in 2009, also repeatedly made racist remarks.

Carlson credited "white men" for "creating civilization" and made numerous racist remarks about the Obamas, including agreeing that Michelle Obama would "be a problem" because she “turns into a sister” and asking of Barack Obama, "How is he Black, for one thing? He has one white parent, one Black parent.” Carlson called Iraqis “semiliterate primitive monkeys” and said Afghanistan is "never going to be a civilized country because the people aren't civilized.” He also said he had “zero sympathy” for Iraqis because they “don’t use toilet paper or forks” and that the war could turn around “if, somehow, the Iraqis decided to behave like human beings."

5. I think Fox brass is trying to scapegoat Jeanine Pirro

Not that Pirro doesn't need to get her walking papers, too, but from my faraway perch Fox is really off balance with this 1-2 punch against Carlson and Pirro. The brass has publicly scolded Pirro for her stupid comments, but they have yet to say anything against Carlson. I think they're hoping public outrage will be sated if Pirro is cut loose.

It's along the lines of "White people created civilization, now I may be some unemployed man... because of the dark people, immigrants, and the Jews and not because of my violent temper and because arithmetic is some socialist concept so I never learned it and I may live in a van and mail bombs to own the libs... but I'm white, so that means I'm a part of the creation of civilization."

Tucker is just a horrible person, it should come with the territory that he rides the coattails of others and then claims that he is involved with the creation of civilization like his racist buddies.
