Dont give the POS NZ shooter what he wants. Dont speak his name dont show the footage. Seems that most agree on that. The questions is can the media do whats right and pass up the ratings theyll get by doing the opposite? I fear we all know the answer unfortunately.

40+ people dead and he's complaining about the media?
Talk about a POS.

(15,410 posts)He has never said anything like this for another shooting. This one, where the shooter said he admired trump's white supremacy he says not to talk about. He doesn't want the media to point out that the killer loves him some trump supremacy.
Candace Owens was another person he admired. She put out a horrific tweet last night, with a laughing emoji
'The Left pretending I inspired a mosque massacre in...New Zealand because I believe black America can do it without government hand outs is the reachiest reach of all reaches!! LOL!' she said.
<snip>
When followers pointed out the impropriety of her response, she was indignant and argued back with them but failed to make a single solemn or sympathetic remark about the shooting or its dozens of victims.

(280,595 posts)My warmest sympathy and best wishes goes out to the people of New Zealand after the horrible massacre in the Mosques. 49 innocent people have so senselessly died, with so many more seriously injured. The U.S. stands by New Zealand for anything we can do. God bless
all!
Best wishes and goes out?

enough to know the more reporting about the shooter, the worse it will be for the Trump family... and he adds the "let's not glorify" the shooter's name. Don may be dumb, but he's not stupid.

(10,252 posts)So withholding it seems to represent for him some sort of punishment. Also hiding this massacre from the public eye, not discussing it lets everyone get back to the more important business of making as much money as possible. But we need to talk about this massacre in NZ. It is cathartic to discuss it. It is important to remind ourselves, our family and friends, our children that hatred is poisin. Hatred is what Hell is all about.
Then there's the issue of civilian access to assault weapons.

(6,676 posts)the whole thing, in public, even the court cases.
We need answers!
What drives people to do acts like this?
Where did the guns come from?
What role did Trump play in encouraging this?
And the legal system response to this . . . 49 life sentences for each of them?
Then there is the likely government response. Gun bans. Only police, security guards and the military should be carrying. And those military assault rifles in the hands of a civilian? Someone so deranged he dresses in military style and plays marching music as if off to war?Questions will be asked, and answered, and action will be taken.
Sorry Don. Daddy let the genie out of the bottle, now face the consequences, in public. Your 'hush up' line is pathetic and beneath contempt!
But how embarrassing, Don. Daddy wants violence against minorities, but they weren't to say he put them up to it! Best blame the media for any negativity, there's a good clone!
By the way, 'thoughts and prayers' would have fitted in well there, somewhere.

Clue burner creep. Daddy has blood on his hands and, worse, he wants more. He has threaten his critics with violence.

(9,398 posts)I think I know why Don "the Con" Jr. does not want the media to say the name of the shooter and discuss his words. If the media were to discuss the shooter, and they are, it would be clear that he was a white guy who seemed to like Donald Trump. I bet if this guy had been a Muslim claiming to be a fan of Barack Obama, Don Jr. would have been claiming that the media should identify the shooter and discuss his words. He would also claim that if the media did not discuss the words of the shooter and identify him it was proof of the media's bias.
Johnny2X2X
(22,182 posts)Trump described the late U.S. general John Pershing, a rough man. He then claimed, approvingly, that Pershing had summarily executed 49 Muslim prisoners during the U.S. occupation of the Philippines in the early-1900s and had added religious insult to the supposed killings by dipping the bullets in the bloods of pigs, which Muslims are forbidden to consume.
This was a terrible problem. They were having terrorism problems just like we do, he said. And he caught 50 terrorists who did tremendous damage and killed many people. And he took the 50 terrorists and he took 50 men and he took 50 bullets, and he dipped them in pigs blood. You heard that, right? He took 50 bullets! And he dipped them in pigs blood.
And he had his men load his rifles, and he lined up the 50 people, and they shot 49 of those people. And the 50th person, he said, You go back to your people and you tell them what happened. And for 25 years there wasnt a problem, OK? Twenty-five years there wasnt a problem.
He concluded by linking the story to present-day problems for a second time.
So we better start getting tough and we better start getting vigilant, and we better start using our heads or were not gonna have a country, folks, he said.
