(31,261 posts)I enjoyed chocolate milk as a child, then I grew up and became increasingly lactose intolerant at around 14.

(25,586 posts)The bit of nuttiness in the almond milk enhances the richness of the chocolate quite nicely. And it doesnt turn my lactose-intolerant kid into a bomb waiting to go off!

(31,261 posts)Of them all cashew milk tasted the best, but all fell short of what I remember from a fresh cold glass of cow's milk. I am ok with not drinking milk, I can still eat ice cream without having problems of any measure and I can eat yogurt and things like cheese butter and cheesecake without issues at all. So, I am content with where I am.

(3,748 posts)Think Ill go make my new cocktail creation: almond milk, rum, real vanilla extract and a touch of sweetener, blue agave syrup or (keto) Swerve non-carb sugar substitute. On ice! Yummy!

If there were a heaven this would be my daily breakfast!
