was obstruction -- leaving it up to Barr and Rosenstein.

The report will come out, there is no way obstructors can stop that long-term. It will list a bunch of unethical, immoral, maybe illegal stuff trump (or more likely, people on his behalf) did. But in the end -- Mueller left it ambiguous enough that Barr could deem the evidence as not arising to obstruction. If he thought it was obstruction, he should have said exactly that, so Barr or anyone else couldn't arrive at their own conclusion.

And he's not going to lie about conferring with Rosenstein and him agreeing the evidence didn't support prosecution.

I'm sure there are plenty of details in the report that Congress can make hay over. But the broad contours are most likely as Barr described them.

The criminal justice part of this controversy is over.
