I'm thinking Mueller has planted a lot of mines along the path.
700 pages in the Report could, and most likely will, reveal many investigatory and press channels to persue and shine light on.
We need the report.

(86,005 posts)...what guidance did Barr give Mueller? What lines of investigation were precluded by Barr?

(86,005 posts)...and there's little chance this Barr effort isn't just another obstruction attempt.
It's so lame and clumsy, I'm surprised anyone actually opposed to Trump fell for it.

(7,006 posts)Trump's AG Barr will block it via the Trump 5-4 Supreme Court. Time to move on to the next Strategical Play which is putting Impeachment Back On The Table. Wait for the GOP Senate to Not Remove Him and Paint Both The GOP Senate and Trump as Criminal running amok Destroying America.
Get in the dirt or get buried by it. That is the question that Democrats must figure out, FAST!

(7,715 posts)I wonder Barr himself is part of an obstruction of justice. Holding back the report from Pelosi, the third highest ranking person in the US, would be a sure that something is rotten in the state of the USA.

(2,002 posts)Are contacts with Barr prior to June 2018 when he wrote that unsolicited memo. Someone set this up nearly a year ago, I'm afraid.
We also need to find out why Lindsay Graham a)insisted on a closed door private meeting with Barr prior to the Senate hearing(and why Barr refused the same from everyone else) and why Graham was traveling with Trump all weekend.

(25,183 posts)It may take some time to redact grand jury matters and things regarding national security.
What if we find that the inconclusive "evidence" that Mueller had regarding obstruction of justice came from Michael Cohen? A lot of prosecutors would probably see him as an unreliable witness, being as he had a vested interest in keeping his sentence as short as possible.
We'd be in the position of believing a lying weasel who would do anything to save his ass, someone who's already lied to this nation bigly.
