I think I clearly remember this being a ridiculous point he made during Confirmation.
If so, he was selected specifically because of this. As we find out today that Mueller informed DoJ (Whittaker) weeks ago that he would leave determination of Obstruction up to the DoJ. Whittaker and Trump's staff knew this and picked Barr specifically for this reason. This stinks to high hell.
