Don't Democrats in Congress Have Anything Better to Do?

We need to remember that the majority of American voters care about:
1. Their jobs
2. Paying their bills
3. Government doing its job
4. Affordable Healthcare and prescriptions
5. Good schools
6. Paying for college
7. Infrastructure

Most voters don't care about Bob Mueller or Bill Barr.

There was a Big Blue Wave last November because Democrats in Congress promised action on 1 - 7 above.

Sure, everybody wants accountability but if Democrats forget to take care of these "kitchen table" issues then they'll lose in 2020.

Maybe it's time to focus on issues that affect the everyday lives of Americans. Let Trump dig his own holes that he can bury himself in.

Forcefully and with great care. Every day. And as the 2020 election looms closer, they will of course, advertise this fact more and more.

...despite treason, foreign invasion, New Jim Crow, voter suppression, ethnic cleansing of voter rolls -- and I am sure I missed a few points. Despite all that, she still got 3 million more votes than Trump.

Then, we Americans reiterated that with compound interest in the Blue Wave last year.

Tell me again how Democrats are not connecting somehow.

The people we are not connecting with are racists and misogynists who were sickened by a black president and the prospect of a woman president. We have nothing for them in the Democratic platform or Democratic core principles. We should never have anything for them -- except the good governance due to all citizens.

I think dealing with these issues is most important.

I'm hoping for a bigger House majority and winning Senate control and also the presidency.

THEN we can really get some stuff done.

But to get there, I think Nancy and Co. need to pass some really good bills that people love, then send to the Senate so voters can see how Repugs let every good thing die.

That will also help our 2020 pres. candidates.

first, I doubt Barr & Rosenstein have both posted a summary report which is opposite of what the Mueller report contains. Yes, there is probably some damaging information in the report on the issue of obstruction. But again the 2 top officials at DOJ have concluded it does not rise to the level of bringing charges and it highly unlikely DOJ will take action to prosecute. So all a full report disclosure could do at best is impeachment will pass in House, but fail in Senate to remove.

OP is right about what voters care most right now. Jobs, affordable healthcare without unaffordable deductibles, relief from the tight squeeze middle class is feeling, good schools in big cities, infrastructure.
Majority of new winners in 2018 races ran on a platform to get things done, not investigations. That is the winning formula in 2020 to dump Trump at the ballot box.

Mitch can try to pass a bill stopping the release, but it has less chance to pass in congress than me winning 100 meters sprint in next Olympics. (I am almost 79 years old...and that reminds me today is my day to visit Gym because with the Gym I have outlived my dad and all uncles on both sides)

Asked by reporters whether special counsel Robert Mueller's full report should be made public, President Trump said: "It's up to the attorney general, but it wouldn't bother me at all."

They're putting the decision on the lacky that just summarily pardoned Red Don, if by the end of the week if Red Don's lackies aren't calling for a full release then I'm thinking Barr lied.
