The next ploy by Barr and the Republican Party will be to slow walk the Mueller Report and release
by piece meal to stall and deprive the American people from seeing the criminal behavior of all the people who lied and obstructed the investigation. Trump will then refuse to work with the House to get any of the issues the American people want Congress to address. Barr's report is so incomplete he didn't even give us any idea about the length the report was.

1. It wasn't even legally complete
He failed to attach a list of indictments, declinations to indict, and the reasoning behind all of them.
He hasn't legally fulfilled the statute until he does at least that. |

2. Absolutely!
If I were House Speaker I'd march a set of Democrats down to Mueller's office to demand to speak with him. It is that urgent. And I'd invite the TV cameras to come with them!

3. Yup, good call
Redact as much as they can, break it up into tiny pieces that are difficult to piece together into a cogent narrative

4. That would be foolish on their part
They are better off tearing off the bandaid and exposing Trump for whatever he did or did not do. By the time the election has rolled around, many people will have forgotten about it.
When Comey brought up Clinton's e-mails again right before the election, it was deadly. Trump can stall all he wants, but the longer he waits, the closer it is to the election. That is to OUR advantage, not his. The truth WILL come out. |

In PR terms it won't even matter what the real report says

11. This is why the house needs to speak to Mueller
They are much more likely to get the critical information sooner that way than waiting on republicans to release the report.

14. The stonewalling on the House document requests is already the template
They'll ignore all requests to release. They'll fight any/all subpoenas. If overruled, they'll probably just ignore the courts.
The goal is to drag this into 2020 and beyond. |
