(1,584 posts)to butress our argument about obstruction and the very biased and unprofessionsl Barr. We should not let this go.
Trump cannot use the Mueller report to bash Dems for 2020 because the public has not seen it in its entirety. The more Trump bashes the Dems, the more the debate rages and the lnoger he keeps the real plain sight collusion and obstruction before the people. No amount of spin can erase these facts, actions, and behavior from memory. Only the liars will lie about not believing what was before their very eyes and ears. CONTINUE THE FIGHT!!

She like millions know that t-rump colluded and obstructed justice. It's a matter of time when t-rump is gone.

(56,829 posts)she's 45 years old according to Wikipedia. Say the Democrat wins in 2020 and Dems take the Senate 51-49. RBG retires in Feb or March of 2021 and 47 year old Maddow is seated on a 50-50 vote with the VP breaking the tie in favor (no filibuster since Mitch nuked it... assuming Manchin votes against Maddow)
47 years old could be a good 40 years on the court.

(254 posts)Most of her questions were about the obstruction part, not the coordination. She never mentioned the very narrow definition of coordination stated in Barr's footnote. Also, the espionage investigation, which rarely ends in indictments, per Frank Figliuzzi of FBI counterintelligence division.

(10,225 posts)Thanks for those nuances. Very informative.
Do you know I just read a front page (on the web) story from the Hill. They say the orange fat traitor in the WH is owed an apology from fake news and MSNBC. An apology because he asked for Russia's help, Russia actively worked to rig the election for him, he benefited from Russia's help and then he fired the guy investigating Russian involvement. Geez, it looks like the Traitor Trump lovers...Russians?...are out in force.
How many times have the RepubliCONS claimed some report or document showed Trump was exonerated, or showed Dems were totally off base, but when the documents came out, it did no such thing? Barr's report is just another lie.

(15,535 posts)Her doubling-down is essential at this moment.
Barr creating that summary so quickly - and appearing to be solicitous to the Congress and citizens - gives the right an opportunity to engage in a PR stunt, to emphasize that it's all over, nothing to see here folks. A few days go by and journalists are all covering another story. It could happen.

(30,613 posts)Are they saying they don't care about the answers to any of those questions? Are they saying they trust an A.G. who was appointed because he publicly promised to dismiss Mueller's findings no matter what? Has the Washington Post any shame?
