I don't believe that Trump would come out swinging against the ACA unless there was some

GOP plan in the wings. This is the way they set us and media up for spreading "fake news." i don't trust them one bit. That's why the point for Democrats to make is that no matter what they (the GOP) comes out with people should remember that they, as a party, and Trump as their President were and are willing to take healthcare away from millions...even from their own disgusting supporters. The issue is one of the heart and character. People who delight in the suffering of others should not have power over others. That is what every Democrat should be saying every time a mike is thrust in front of their faces. It's all about what they would do if they had the chance and what they relly want to do.

scatter shot fuck couldn't revel in the biased Bullshit Bar letter for at least just a few more days. This man is not happy unless he is orchestrating rage, chaos and confusion.

1. they could never get anything passed when they had both H and Senate.
2. They really never HAD a realistic replacement bill to begin with
3. Nothing they submit would pass the House.

It has been reported that HHS (and some other cabinet members) both were caught off guard and opposed (to the extent any cabinet member does). I think Barr, creep that he is knows that just because a Texas Federal judge appointed by Trump ruled this way, it is unlikely the USSC would.

No, Trump has both a habit of impulsive destructive decisions like this and ESPECIALLY when he's on a vendetta tear--anything that has an association with Obama is targeted.

Trump’s base doesn’t care what he does or doesn’t do. But the traditional GOP guys will pay a high price if Trump does succeed in destroying it.

5. Their plan is to blow the ACA up...

always has been. Their problem is that Trump is being so blatant about it. He's blowing their cover.

Democrats should and will defend the ACA from attack and attempt to strengthen it.

this, so I don't think they'll really do it. The main thing they have against it is that it was started by a black president.

have left the GOP, probably became independents. The GOP is now nothing like it was way back at one time. Now, it seems primary comprised of the wackos in life. They are not to be trusted at all, even if they sound OK sometimes, because there is usually a hidden agenda. The GOP is now the Trump Party, and the members love Trump, the cult leader. It is dangerous as hell. The members do not belong to a political party, but rather a political cult whose agenda is to undermine and destroy America and its institutions.

7. I believe what this will do is really lower the insurance rates for all of the "haves" in the US.
Wed Mar 27, 2019, 10:27 AM
Mar 2019

I think they are banking on by getting rid of mandatory pre-existing condition coverage at low rates and kicking off the high risk people, the insurance companies will be able to substantially lower the rates for all the people that currently have insurance through their employers. It's kind of the us vs. them thing the Republicans always do. They will show how low the people that lead a "healthy" life can get low cost insurance and don't have to pay for "those" people that bankrupt the system. They have some plan to pit the people against each other. Wait and see.

I'm reading that Republicans are shocked and dismayed by this, as they know it's electoral poison.

Dotard is a vindictive, petty SOB. He's doing this because he hates Obama and Democrats. And, he's so narcissistic that he believes his cultists will follow him regardless (he may be right about that).

9. Ya know... come to think of it. What's to keep tRump from making a deal with insurance companies...
Wed Mar 27, 2019, 11:02 AM
Mar 2019

to lower rates after repeal for only one year to get himself reelected, then have 4 glorious years of magnificent rate hikes and then do anything they could ever dream of. He's letting DeVos do everything she could ever want to do to public education, except maybe dismantle it completely.

By the end of another 4 years of tRump, they may have the fascist core in place that the democracy will be eradicated anyway. The free press will have been disbanded, political enemies jailed, all smart devices hijacked and now reporting directly to the government.

Here people wondered how Orwell came up with all that BS. People would never allow those telescreens (Kindle Fire w/Alexa) into their homes, now would they?

I bet people thought Orwell was writing about kooky, extremist, or hate content back then.

I'm going to write a book... I'll call it 2020.

10. GOP Healthcare Plan: Junk Health Insurance sold across state lines.
Wed Mar 27, 2019, 11:41 AM
Mar 2019

Health insurance companies will set up shop in some low-regulated red state, and sell health care plans with ridiculous deductibles across state lines.

For example, you can get a plan if you have pre-existing conditions for the low premium price of $250 a month, but your deductible will be $250,000. So, the health insurance company won't pay a dime of your medical expenses until you hit your deductible limit, and even if you do, they'll have the right to drop you or deny you coverage.

So, there you have it the GOP health care plan! Free market at work.

No matter how many people they might run over in the process.

I was operating under the assumption that it was pretty obvious what the plan was. There's no real hidden secret about it.
