Imagine if the Starr Report had been provided only to President Clinton's Attorney General, Janet Reno, who then read it privately and published a 4-page letter based on her private reading stating her conclusion that President Clinton committed no crimes.

(2,188 posts)I find myself both liking her and admiring her grit. Fortunately, she is using her experience to help others and that means she deserves applause.

(13,390 posts)I am impressed by the compassion she has shown and happy to see that she has been able to recover from the trauma she experienced. She is a dignified and positive role model for people who are suffering under pressures from social and bullying news media is desperately needed.

(I still hate Linda Tripp, who successfully sued the U.S. Justice Dept. & DOD for releasing info from her security file to the news media in violation of the Privacy Act of 1974...She received $595,000 + retroactive pay for 3 years + pension)
