and Roger Stone is not resolved? What about Flynn and Gates? Are their cases resolved? What else is lingering on 'post Mueller'? Is Mueller still involved in all that or has that been turned over to other members of the Mueller team or other parts of the DOJ?

I wonder if Barr forced Mueller to stop the investigation before he was ready.

(86,889 posts)and I think that Mueller may have "trumped" him (heh heh) by already handing off a number of indictments to remain sealed until a certain point or just continue on until charges can be made and due process ensues. The work being handed off to other jurisdictions and the report actually being instructions to Congress will make it hard to keep it all under Barr's thumb. Many here were long speculating that there was a possible trigger that would set a lot of things in motion to protect the investigation(s) and I think that is taking place behind the scenes with Barr's actions being the trigger. I also think that Mueller was preparing for this from the moment Barr;s nomination was known to him. It's not like Mueller isn't aware of Barr's reputation. Anyone who cares about the nation will do the right thing, anyone else is blinded by greed.
To me, this week feels like the five seconds it takes to realize that a serious earthquake is in progress and intensifying... in slow motion.

(18,645 posts)Mayb Mueller said he found no collusion because he handed all the collusion cases off to other jurisdictions which will come to indictments soon.
I doubt it but its fun to think about.

(86,889 posts)nitty gritty of collusion can be whittled down to charges that will stick. The Mueller team were given newly declassified documents from the Nixon case which provided the "roadmap" to impeachment and conviction of a sitting president. I suspect that is the format used in the report submitted yet that info was intended for Congress, not Barr, because it is all the indictment info that can and should be used to convict the asshole. Barr has now obstructed justice.
I think the counter intel component is still under investigation as players come and go, I think Barr will become a suspect if he isn't one already. Anyone who becomes a part of this regime will forever carry the stench. I wonder if not only the FBI but the other agencies are looking into this too.
I can't wait until it's over.

Bill Barr is just desperately trying to cover manure as long as he can. That is why he was brought in. An expert at cover ups.

(86,889 posts)I remember his past accomplishments, it's just one of those tattle-tale signs, along with the most recent events. I think everybody's demanding the full information will eventually hang them, the public lost its collective sense of humor on this a long time ago.
My family and a friend think this is a possibility. I hope everything will be publicized at some point. Everyone in the world should leak whatever they have on dump and the gop.

(109,021 posts)with other Federal prosecutors. So even if the Special Counsel finishes up, that doesn't mean the other prosecutors are done.
One example of this is the mystery Supreme Court case. The court filings show that the Special Counsel's office was handling the case along with multiple prosecutors from the D.C. Federal court.
