(10,175 posts)Instead, I'm "represented" by the absolute worst congressman in the House. I won't sully this website with his name, but it's the 9th District of Georgia.

We are probably only months away from Trump saying it himself. I'm not kidding.

Now, turn this over to the Secret Service. They can find this guy.

(6,252 posts)Don't waste your time trying to interact with minds such as this - they will block any attempt at rational thinking. I always hold out some hope for people, but the truth is, they will have to change of their own accord. They will not believe a word of what anyone tells them who holds an opposing thought.
It never occurs to this guy that the only one who wants to "go to war" is him.
Very proud of Re. Swalwell!

(112 posts)Where I live I see NRA bumper stickers and other not so subtle messages that liberals like me should be cowed by their guns. I got news from or the assholes, some liberals like me grew up with guns, own guns, and I for one practice shooting. I am a better shot than most of the assholes. I am not afraid if them.

(11,949 posts)Almost all of my democratic friends outside of NYC or other urban areas own guns. I own several because I engage in different types of hunting. And part of being a responsible gun owner, along with locking them up and following all laws is being able to hit what you aim at. It is certainly part of being an ethical hunter.
These fers dont scare me.

(55,137 posts)Swalwell should use this as an example every chance he gets. Make the GOP listen to it on a loop, substitute the GOP names for "Swalwell" in the nut's rant and maybe they would pass some decent laws like New Zealand did. Oh wait, we're talking about the GOP...never mind, won't happen.

But how do you eradicate this ??

That means taking weapons of war out of our communities, so I support banning possession of military-style semiautomatic assault weapons. We should buy back such weapons from all who choose to abide by the new law, and anyone found to be in possession of such a weapon after the buyback period has elapsed would be in violation and subject to prosecution. The ban would not apply to law enforcement agencies or shooting clubs. Read more about more about my proposal in my USA Today op-ed.
That caller proved Rep. Swalwell's statement "We cant take hatred out of hearts"........
