BREAKING: NYT Story..Mueller Investigators Say Findings More Troubling For Trump Than Barr Indicated

Sounds like the leaks are starting ..

I'm shocked ... shocked that Barr would understate the report ...

EDIT: Now on Hardball ... NYT Story

More to come

EDIT: (prediction) : Troubling means illegal cause Trump the Child Snatcher doesn't have ... ANY ... shame.

Update: NOT FROM NYT YET ... from MSNBC -

NYT: Some on Mueller’s team see their findings more damaging for Trump

https://www.msnbc.com/hardball/watch/nyt-some-on-mueller-s-team-see-their-findings-more-damaging-for-trump-1471712323990

Update: From NYT (paywall)

Mueller Investigators Say Findings More Troubling For Trump Than Barr Indicated

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/03/us/politics/mueller-findings-barr.html

WASHINGTON — Some of Robert S. Mueller III’s investigators have told associates that Attorney General William P. Barr failed to adequately portray the findings of their inquiry and that they were more troubling for President Trump than Mr. Barr indicated, according to government officials and others familiar with their simmering frustrations.

At stake in the dispute — the first evidence of tension between Mr. Barr and the special counsel’s office — is who shapes the public’s initial understanding of one of the most consequential government investigations in American history. Some members of Mr. Mueller’s team are concerned that, because Mr. Barr created the first narrative of the special counsel’s findings, Americans’ views will have hardened before the investigation’s conclusions become public.

UPDATE: Looks like there are ... MULTIPLE ... summaries written by people associated with Mueller investigation <---- NOT VERIFIED YET !!!

Mueller's associates are not barred (ironic term, eh?) from speaking to the press, etc. They can in broad terms (as they apparently have) say they disagreed, even totally, with the AG's summary. No total gag order here for sure and many may have parts, at least, of the report itself. But, to release same now could/would open them to (per vindictive prick Trump) charges as would being quite specifc orally or in writing to the press.

Beyond that, even the grand jury folks, who apparently are legion, can use very broad strokes and likely not get into trouble even with Barr's now corrupt office. They like Mueller's team cannot spill the beans on most all issues nor can they delineate all they saw and heard. But even broad brushes like (my example) saying that they know of quite detailed testimony that hasn't been revealed yet....yes, this they could do yet many are likely cowed (no, not Devin Nune's cow!) by instruction they got at the end of their service.

Due to all kinds of pressure, fear that the report will leak, fear of past precedent (Nixon; yeah, the rules for the special prosecutor then were different but...) , Barr fearful of the mistake he's already made...I have no doubt we'll see in 2019 the entire report WITH the redactions uncovered but not the actual grand jury testimony for those not indicted (Trump). It's o.k. since the rest apparently will damn him to hell. Or, at least back to Trump Tower where the SDNY folks and police will be awaiting his last helicopter ride back home!

Thu Apr 4, 2019, 07:04 AM
Apr 2019

* Mueller's scope was limited to the time of the election
* He didn't find enough collusion DURING that time
* He did find obstruction - or recommend looking in to it - this is what we "don't know".

* trump looked it and said "no collusion" and was ecstatic that Muller ONLY LOOKED DURING ELECTION - because if he would have looked **before*** he would have found money laundering etc. THAT was why trump was goose stepping and high fiving - he thought he dodged the real issue that occurred before and after.

* But he's now freaking out about the obstruction - because THATS why (the before money laundering, meeting with putin w/o anyone else present etc) he obstructed. And from there it may still unravel.

They know that Barr is redacting every page of that report that is even remotely harmful to Trump. It's been shown Barr won't let the public know what's in the report.

Do the Mueller team summaries start to get leaked?

96. Barr had "frustrations" with Mueller

From the article:

At the same time, Mr. Barr and his advisers have expressed their own frustrations about Mr. Mueller and his team. Mr. Barr and other Justice Department officials believe the special counsel’s investigators fell short of their task by declining to decide whether Mr. Trump illegally obstructed the inquiry, according to the two government officials. After Mr. Mueller made no judgment on the obstruction matter, Mr. Barr stepped in to declare that he himself had cleared Mr. Trump of wrongdoing.

It sounds like Barr was "frustrated" with Mueller not because he made no judgment on obstruction, but because Mueller hadn't cleared Trump, so he stepped in and attempted to Trump himself. I don't think that will hold.
