conceals or excuses their assholery: get a clue. Freedom of religion means you get to choose---or not---whatever unscientific and unprovable set of rules you think best to govern and control YOUR life. It does not mean that you are at "liberty" to impose your ideas of right behavior on anyone else.

So, when you decline to provide medical attention or legal services or an apartment---or a cake---to a gay person or an unwed mother or a mixed race couple, it's not because you are a "good Christian"; it's because you're an asshole.
