Great advice from President Obama to young people re: voting

Barack Obama: "When we hear that young people aren't voting or participating, we say to them, 'You would not let your grandfather or grandmother decide what clothes you wear or what music you listen to, so why would you let them decide the world you're going to live in?"

I hope he can motivate the non-voters.

Incidentally, I call our landline voice mail periodically just to hear the saved message of him urging us to vote for OR Gov. Kate Brown. Just hearing his voice always makes me feel better.

People can understand them.

We need to see more of him at the podium giving speeches this election cycle. If there is anyone who can get people out to vote and the MESSAGE out, it is Lres. Barack Obama.
