Rosenstein defending Barr to the WSJ

“He’s being as forthcoming as he can, and so this notion that he’s trying to mislead people, I think is just completely bizarre,” Mr. Rosenstein said.

“It would be one thing if you put out a letter and said, ‘I’m not going to give you the report,’ ” Mr. Rosenstein said. “What he said is, ‘Look, it’s going to take a while to process the report. In the meantime, people really want to know what’s in it. I’m going to give you the top-line conclusions.’ That’s all he was trying to do.”

What happened to this guy? At the beginning of the Mueller probe he seemed like a good solid guy who was on the right side of this thing. Very strange.

which the Turd requested. That should have given us a hint as to who he is and what he's willing to do.

The Comey lesson is, good efforts at 'trying to do the right thing' - never go unpunished?

[Not trying to justify Rosenstein. Don't trust him. Just see him in vulnerable positions].

[I would not rule out trump having compromising information/threats against an number of his allies and suspects - including Barr . . . and Rosenstein].

That’s not saying much. Even sounds a little damning in a Rosenstein passive aggressive way.

Rosenstein with "The McCabe Treatment". Rosenstein authored the bogus Comey firing cover letter, thus he was probably told that if he/Mueller pushed for prosecution of Trump, Rosenstein would be prosecuted to for obstruction.
