Criminal Intent: tRump's Ilhan tweet...
tRump pinned this tweet. He can't say this was just a random thought. He wants this to be seen by as many people as possible. He wants it to be seen by everyone that hits his twitter feed. This is deliberately intended to incite harm against representative Ilhan. It is undeniable. In twitterverse, this is like buying a billboard in Times Square. This is harassment of the highest degree. This may be the high crime or misdemeanor that our founding fathers spoke of. I sure hope so. Presidents cannot do this. No one can do this.

8. Because it's not a direct threat I would imagine. He's talking in code and radicalizing people.
At what point is his base like...dude enough, shut up for a few days.

2. Why can't she file a libel suit against him? Isn't the video edited?
We know that personal lawsuits against a sitting president are allowed.

5. That's why I think pinning it would prove malice...
If it was tweeted and allowed to be buried within his feed, then no malice. For him to pin it, so it would stay at the top of his feed to insure that everyone that visited his feed would see it, proves malice.

Has a job to do but they refuse to do it, they are complicit in any acts t-rump does...I don't really give a shit if they cannot convict him they still have the obligation of doing their job..

imagine if this impeachment backfires and then the Dem's just get swept away in 2020. I do think of that.

11. so
They can abrogate their responsibility because they might not get elected next time around?? I agree that they would be taking a chance and that it would probably not gain anything but not so sure that is a reason to ignore that responsibility...At this point the trumplicans can absolutely ignore the law and snub their noses at the laws that the rest of us must follow..at some point they will actually overthrow the rule of law and take over the entire government, they become more and more emboldened each time they step over the latest line and continue on to ignore the next one...

10. it would be the end but we let a few hundred racist liars on 1500 radio stations make it acceptable
by ignoring them as they normalize it. they blast every community in the country all day with the lies and hate and when trump repeats it he's got them in his sails. following limbaugh's lead they've been attacking omar and aoc and schiff generating death threats and the left cannot collectively say they're getting their backs as long as we keep ignoring it
and it basically just those blowhards keeping him in line by amplifying a 5% heavy ignorant racist minority of dittoheads the republican politicians aren't afraid of trump, they're afraid of limbaugh, the think tank and putin point man for that propaganda operation and main cause of this disaster, the only thing keeping those GOP politicians from dumping his ass. if limbaugh turned on him instead of making excuses and attacking his critics trump would be gone in months if not weeks. instead, dems need to protest and boycott all rw talk radio stations and the universities that endorse them till it's democratized and the ad industry has to start asking their clients if they really really want to support trump and globbal warming denial and racist attacks on dem reps |

14. Remember
All the republicans by allowing this to continue are complicit in his behavior, threats, and suggestions towards using violence. That is a high crime, period. Guess they learned nothing after the Mid Terms.

This is coming from the same motherfucker that bragged he had the tallest building in New York after the attacks. These sick, twisted, right-wing beasts have to be defeated.

19. I realize I'll be in the DU minority for this, but tweets aren't "high crimes and misdemeanors."
He's committed plenty, but tweeting ain't one of them. I'm as desperate as anyone to find a path out of this mess, but a tweet? Really? As an impeachable offense?
There are plenty of hills for us to die on in the impeachment effort; mine isn't going to be a tweet. |

22. I don't know about that...
Jarvis Briton spent 12 months in jail for a tweet. Donte Jamar Sims spent 6 months in jail for a tweet. William Koberna was originally charged with a felony but it was dropped to a 1st degree misdemeanor for a charge of telecommunications harassment. As Tom Jones said, It's not unusual.
