Wonder if he was involved in the Russian influence of the 2016 election and that letter was just a cover?

The biggest mistake the Senate Democrats made was even participating in the confirmation hearing. They should have refused to participate out of protest that Barr was completely "disqualified" from consideration due to his letter... AND THIS STUFF!

I suspect a significant number of GOP members and senators are likewise invested and compromised.

And that is only what is known at the moment . IF 7.5 M is identified in any sense you can expect that at least that much again is not. Recall how fond the Russian Mob are of off-shore accounts? I would expect to find the same kind of money is hidden in Caymen, Panamanian, or similar off-shore and off the books accounts that only the big players like Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Lindsey Graham, John Kasich and John McCain would need.

That 7.5 million is direct political endorsement. It doesn't begin to cover how much dark money was spent on Sub rosa activities and groups. We've heard about the Troll farm. What we haven't heard of is equally disturbing. The Rat-fucking programs, the false news releases, the faked internet sources and rumor mills: the whole circus of GOP dirty tricks. All of that was paid for off the books in the form of interest groups registered as non-profit with hidden donor lists.

I can recall GOP donors and players bragging they had planned to spend at least 70-90 million, or more to win in 2016. Those who are paid to speculate on such things were commenting that at least twice that much would be spent by GOP agents if you included Dark Money sources and groups.

I just don't get it. Is everyone in our government in D.C. somehow compromised with the Russians?
Is that why the Mueller report and the tax information have been so tied up and withheld.
And isn't there a set of handcuffs somewhere just waiting to be slapped on at least one
of these GOP criminals?

I didn't see any of this sh*t prior to his nomination except vague references to Iran Contra.

I'm talking about people who worked with him at DoJ and in government.
