Anti-Gay Legislator Injures Kids in drunken Boat Crash

Don H. Dwyer, a tea party Republican and member of the Maryland House of Delegates who has said that same-sex marriage poses a threat to children, has injured four children in a drunken boating accident.

Dwyer was boating on the Magothy River at 7 p.m. Wednesday when he collided with another vessel with five children onboard. Four of the kids were injured, including a 5-year-old girl who was taken by helicopter to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore.

Is a danger to every damn body if you are operating a moving vehicle, boat or heavy equipment than most things, other than maybe juggling running chainsaws or randomly shooting guns into a crowd. Rampant stupidity is always dangerous.

As for his sanctimonious stance on what is dangerous to children with regards to gay people, well, perhaps when he gets put in jail and has the hell sued out of him he will learn what the real consequences are for dangerous behavior.

Hint for Dwyer: It's not dangerous to society for same-sex couples to marry or to adopt children, it's dumbshits that get drunk as a skunk and then decide to drive a boat that are a danger to society. Fortunately for society, he will probably face some consequences that keep him from ever running his trap again in a legislative capacity, so we don't have to hear his dumbshit ideas anymore and deal with him doing dumbshit things anymore.

I found another article. Apparently, Republicans are "troubled" by this, and think maybe he should be reprimanded.

Um, you think? I don't think he needs to be reprimanded. I think he needs to be in a jail cell for injuring 6 people, 4 of them children, because he was piloting a boat while shitfaced. If he DOESN'T go to jail and somehow manages to salvage his political career, there is something extremely wrong with our country. Anyone else drunk like that and injuring 6 people would be under the jail.
