When told SC had been appointed Trump said: 'Oh my God. ... end of my Presidency. I'm fucked.'"

Page 290: "According to notes written by Hunt, when Sessions told the President that a Special Counsel had been appointed, the President slumped back in his chair and said, 'Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my Presidency. I'm fucked.'"

The whole bloody presidency has been a bizarre attempt to simultaneously defy him and prop him up.

slime dweller lives by a code and I suspect Trump has no time for any codes. Invented, as they are, by people not him.

but the people I kept hiring declined to kill anyone.

Anyone think that's a defense to conspiracy to commit murder?

13. So Mueller proves that Trump actively tried to block the investigation. But that's not obstruction.

For a man who is all "me me me me" he acts quickly to blame others, then when the others get into trouble, he denies ever knowing them.

Amazing.

16. This report is far from exculpatory for Trump

It made very clear that although the legal definition of collusion (or conspiracy) may not have been met, Trump knew he was being helped by Russia (despite his denials that there was Russian interference) and he was happy to take their help.

Trump's "state of mind," used as an excuse by Barr for his rage against the investigation, clearly shows guilty knowledge. A Trump tweet from this morning doesn't sound like something coming from an innocent man (via Washington Post; I'm in Twitter jail so can't link directly to it):

Ahead of the report’s release, the president lobbed another attack on the investigation. “PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!” he tweeted Thursday morning. “The Greatest Political Hoax of all time! Crimes were committed by Crooked, Dirty Cops and DNC/The Democrats.”
