This is the only thing you need to know. With their actions under Obama and their actions now are the only thing that matters.
They must be resisted at every opportunity, regardless of what they say or do!
They are domestic enemies.

(5,875 posts)They are dirty to the core, so if it means burning it all down to keep their crimes from coming to light, they are all in favor of that.
They are terrified of We the People finding out how corrupt they are. They should remember what happened to Louis VXI and Mussolini; it's going to happen to them. Hopefully sooner rather than later...

(3,138 posts)It's only gotten more and more apparent. Their endgame is single party rule and a "unitary executive". Hopefully the elected Dems are starting to realize this, because we really need them to stop with the "reaching across the aisle" and start with the "showing no quarter". The only time a dem should "reach across the aisle" is when they have an opportunity to grab one of those monarchist traitors by the throat.
The only way our country is going to remain a republic is by damaging the GOP so badly that they are forced to drastically reform, or are replaced by something less corrupt and autocratically minded.

(180 posts)Totally agree! If they had been leftists they would be in prisons by now. Fascism is apparently acceptable to the Republican Party. Panic of having to include a diverse population has rendered them to their base elements of racism, misogyny and homophobia. They would destroy the republic to keep it from becoming a more diverse, more democratic, more egalitarian and more just culture.

(7,024 posts)The first thing Hitler did as Chancellor was to revamp the courts and install Judges that would follow his agenda and discrimination against Jews,Hitler's critics.
Hitler owed the equivalent of 4 Million Dollars in back taxes. Hitler installed a new (equivalent to) Treasury Secretary and was able to get his tax burden forgiven and laws were passed to make the Chancellor except from taxes.
It goes on and on.
If one could or would research Hitler's speech's one would see that there are several similarities between Trumps speeches and Hitlers.
If you look as some of Trumps speeches notice the right arm at a 45 degree with hand straight as if to give a Nazi salute...Don't think this is by accident?
The Nazi 37-39% of seats in the German Parliament (Reichstag)
Its ironic that Trumps support is around 37-39%
So do we allow that 37-39% decide whether we keep our Democracy or do we concede to a Fascist state
It is very critical
