General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsDid Senator Richard Blumenthal just expose some "unredacted" information??
He was on Ari Melber's show and was talking about Don McGahn and KT McFarland.
He said that Trump had asked McGahn to put a letter in his file stating that he (Trump) did not ask McGahn to fire Mueller?? I had not heard that or read that. If that is true, it would show intent to cover-up a crime of obstruction.
Also, Blumenthal said that when McFarland was going to be appointed as Ambassador to Switzerland (?), that Trump had requested that she write a memo stating that he did not know about General Flynn's discussions with the Russians?
In my opinion, both of those examples from Senator Blumenthal show obstruction with intent to cover-up.
Trump would not have asked for a letter disputing his requests if he did not think they were illegal.

I had not heard the part about letters clearing Trump of any wrongdoing?
