Democrats and Impeachment

The Democrats have no plan to rush into impeachment.

But there may come a time very soon where they will have to take a more serious look?

First of all, they want to hear from Robert Mueller. They need to hear what his views are on obstruction and a few other matters in his report.

Also, they plan on issuing several subpoenas to the Justice Dept. Most likely, the Trump Justice Dept will continue the WH plan to obstruct at every turn. When that happens, Democrats will need to re-evaluate their position on impeachment, in my opinion.

In the meantime, they will be patient in the face of louder and louder calls for battle.

1. For those of us who want impeachment, we can focus on the candidates

The presidential candidates are trying to get media attention every day. If those of us who want impeachment can influence them to favor it, it can push the whole party there.

I will answer any candidates' fund raising requests with a demand for impeachment before I donate.

That would prevent impeachment too close to an election?
If we go slowly,is there a point where it is impossible?

If the Party is still in power, they can impeach more than once.

4. I can live with that. Tell Hoyer to explain it like that instead of just saying no.

I thought he was a politician and his skill was speaking with silver tongue. These Dems need to put the fear of Pelosi into Republicans when they speak on TV. You should always let a little threat slip, whether you intend to use it or not. Sometimes it's good to let a threat slip, especially if you are not going to use it. Let them think about it...

Our leaders are blowing it in my opinion with their saying no. They should defer to their constituents and the American people instead. That's who they work for.

and every day, the tRump cabal continues to commit crimes. Every day. The republicons work against us, every day. DeVos and her ilk are working to destroy our country, every day.

So yes, I want to see immediate action. I do realize that Democrats should not "rush" carelessly into anything, including impeachment. But we need to see that they are taking proper timely action, not just sending tweets of concern, letters, and requests for republicons to do the right thing (hint: they never will!).

And definitely don't need anyone, especially a leader, saying tRump's impeachment "isn't worth it".

It is.
