I Have To Think That Trump Is Pissed At AG Barr.....

in my opinion Barr made Trump look like a complete fool by misrepresenting the Mueller Report on 'obstruction' and 'collusion'. Trump jumped on it and claimed he was totally exonerated.

Now having the report in hand - Trump can see that Barr made him look foolish.

I'm just wondering if Barr did enough damage to Trump's ego that Barr will be fired?

Barr to make him look foolish. Trump has done a great job of exposing himself with his lies, attempts to cover his manure, and down right ignorance.

Barr may have been ordered to do that roll-out. But he'll get the blame after all the bad press.

...were bumbling mistakes. As bad as the Mueller report is, its probably not as bad as most people expected, especially given generally low opinions of Trump's ethics even among a lot of his supporters. Barr's hamhanded attempts to whitewash the report and babbling about exoneration just raised people's expectations. I don't think that turns out in Trump's favor.

Trump's lawyers read the report a month ago. They and he knew damn well what is in it.

This month long exercise in gaslighting was just a delay tactic to stretch the release date to the beginning of the 2-week Congressional Easter recess, so its impact will be blunted. Unfortunately for him, people still read the report, and it has hit like a nuclear bomb to their little world of lies.

Trump is not mad at Barr. He's just changing how he is portraying the report, because the gaslighting about the report being an "total exoneration" is no longer working, so now he is back to trying to discredit Mueller and the report.

Barr seeming foolish, or making anyone else seem foolish, by lying the other day. All that that lying accomplished was Barr exposing himself YET AGAIN as a corrupt right wing authoritarian GOP partisan. So no new news there...

Trump does irrationally blame people for things, so I'm sure he'll get pissed of at Barr soon, and for something which deserves none of our sympathy, but even if Trump claims a causal connection with this mess it will likely not be there.

45 having the report ‘in hand’ since that would suggest reading it vs using it as a coke coaster.

Maybe Barr is reading it aloud to him in a more, um, redacted fashion.

What are the implications of trump having extreme distrust of nearly everyone?
