In my view, calling for either of those polar opposite views is just plan wrong.

There is a far more reasonable path and Chairman Nadler is already on it. Informational hearings should be the byword right now. Get the cast of characters, big and small, under oath before the Congress and the nation. Let everyone see them speak in their own words. Listen to those who will be obviously truthful. Watch those who will lie do so. Let the shady criminals do what they cannot help but do - looking and acting like shady criminals. Let liars lie. Imagine them all under oath.

None of that takes impeachment off the table. The real goal is to bring the American People - the VOTERS - along with us.
