The Mueller report proved Mueller is Mister Clean. He plays it safe and right by the book.

I was hoping he would have tested the book because this is a unique and dangerous moment. I was hoping he would indict people around Trump for conspiracy and name Trump as an Un-indicted co-conspirator. Mueller did a good job but was it good enough.

History will be the final judge on how good of job Mueller did.

1. The Mueller report exposed a deficiency in our system, the lack of a true Independent Counsel

We had one after Nixon, but unfortunately dropped it after the excesses against Clinton. The current special counsel regulations were meant to be a substitute with more restraints, but it is not equal to the job.

I think we have to come up with a new independent counsel law that can investigate and with explicit permission to indict, but limited scope of investigation so it can't be a fishing expedition.
