My own opinion on the Mueller report

My thought:

He indicated there was attempts at cover up, which could be termed attempts at obstruction.

But short of direct evidence to override DoJ precedent, he felt he could not lay charges against HIM.

((Let alone the current composition of the Senate.))

but the idea that rump cant be indicted is why Mueller didnt indict him.

There is an outstanding issue of the team using the WRONG definition of a criminal conspiracy but the REASON Mueller gave is NOt that he did not have the evidence, that is the LIE Barr is telling

then he ran smack dab into the DOJ policy that a sitting president can't be charged.

He goes by the book so left it to Congress to do it's job.

First page after the title page should have included a summary along these lines, in big bold font that even an ignorant white winger can understand --

1. Russians materially interfered in the 2016 Election and it is likely the results would have been different absent that interference.

2. Rather than walk away and report a foreign adversary's offer to help then candidate Donald trump, there is evidence trump campaign aides -- including his son and son-in-law -- continued to confer with Russians for help in electing candidate Donald trump. Whether this can be deemed collusion or conspiracy, it was wrong.

3. It is clear President trump obstructed justice by threatening, bulling, bribing, offering pardons, etc., witnesses to not tell the truth; threatened government officials with dismissal over the investigation; and likely worse. I would file charges except that DOJ policy precludes indicting a sitting President. The policy puts this in the hands of Congress.

4. This investigation is limited to the election and aftermath. Other investigations should continue into whether trump is compromised in his actions with Russia and other countries, whether he is fit for office, whether he and his family a profiting off the Office of President, whether trump's Executive Orders exceed his authority, and gawd knows what else. Further, trumps relatives should be investigated to see if they are offering access or influence to enrich the family crime organization.

_____________

The report essentially says most of that, but not as concisely as needed for ignorant white wingers.
