Will Trump stop Mueller from testifying before the Congress?

Will he claim that he is part of the Executive Branch and he is prohibiting him from testifying, just as he is prohibiting McGahn from testifying?

Will both of them agree with their Republican president?

We like to think not, but I am not so sure?

We would like to think that both Mueller and McGahn will put their country over politics. It is unfortunate that we have to wait a month to find out?

to prevent Mueller or McGhan from testifying and courts will rule that way if they even hear the case.

and lose, but I think there'll be some caveats to any testimonies,

Mueller will not be able to testify to anything that is redacted and not in the public view. Until that happens, I think Mueller's testimony is not going to be the explosive event we would hope for.

McGahn's testimony would be pretty much the same although his testimony may have more of a Michael Cohen feel to it.

until that bus that Trump threw him under got too heavy.

I think McGahn's loyalties may be more to the party than to Trump.

I'd like to see dump try to prevent a private citizen from testifying. Same goes for McGahn, who bailed on the WH job last fall. Given that his tenure--motivated by respect for the law or CYA doesn't matter--was apparently marked by refusal of illegal orders, I am thinking he will not be amenable to an illegal muzzling.

Because even a King is not above the rule of law.

Charles 1st thought that and he lost his head. Oliver Cromwell took over the Stewardship of the Monarchy in England when it was brought into a bloody Civil War in the 17th Century. People wanted the Monarchy back after Cromwell made a mess of things. The rest is history.

History will not be kind to Trump in his continued schemes to undermine the US Constitution, obstruct justice, in preventing the truth to come out all because he wants to hold on to power. He is in love with the idea...President for Life...then pass it down to his even-more corrupt children.
