Now Barr is telling his people to ignore Congress. Congress may as well go home until...
we see who wins the 2020 elections because it looks like everything will be stalled until then anyway.

1. I don't know who's more insufferable: Barr or Giuliani
They coarsen and sully the profession of Law.

2. Not exactly
“In keeping with longstanding Department of Justice policy, neither Mr. Gore nor anyone else in the Department will be forced to testify in their capacity as a DOJ official on DOJ matters without DOJ counsel,” said Kerri Kupec, a department spokesperson.

4. I believe we've heard that "longstanding" DOJ policy line from Barr's department before...
seems the "longstanding" only meant since Barr has been in office.

8. What about a citizen's arrest?
It's one thing to say the House sargent of arms can arrest someone, but what if that someone resists? Ignoring a subpoena is the same thing as ignoring an arrest warrant.

10. Will she?
I’m a Pelosi fan, but I’m getting frustrated.
This is the DU member formerly known as cwydro.

9. Can't the House cut DOJ funding?
Can't we do that, investigate and impeach all at the same time?

11. Wouldn't That ALSO Be Obstruction Of Justice?
I know that as an attorney, I'm not allowed to advise my clients to disobey a court order. So why can the nation's top attorney advise HIS clients to disobey what amounts to a court order?

12. so let them have "counsel" - there seems to be a loophole in the matter?
