Watergate's Bob Woodward: Trump is too stupid to have organized a conspiracy with Russia

"On Friday, Axios reported that legendary Watergate reporter Bob Woodward is considering writing a second book on President Donald Trump — and that he was driven to do so, in part, because he is disturbed by how disorganized and out of his depth the president is as leader of the free world.

Woodward even went so far as to imply that special counsel Robert Mueller was probably right not to implicate Trump criminally — because he is too incompetent to have intentionally masterminded a scheme with Russia."

"“It’s a governing crisis. He doesn’t know how to govern,” Woodward told Axios. “People who work with Trump say: You can’t even organize your own government. How could you possibly organize a conspiracy with Russia? … He doesn’t even have a to-do list, as best I can tell.”

Putin has lots of leverage over him, in a range of areas, and Trump is extremely conscious and frightened of the prospect of Putin unleashing it on him. So he humiliates himself and America by aggressively brown-nosing Putin at every opportunity.

There was active conspiracy and coordination going on in 2016, but it also was mostly inept from the Trump team side. Mueller, applying his ridiculously strict definition of what could be prosecuted as conspiracy, couldn't get adequate evidence to prove the incidents of it that did happen.

That doesn't mean that the Russian sabotaging of our election wasn't essential to Trump getting electoralcolleged into office. It was.

All that said, Woodward is correct in the sense that neither Trump nor much of anybody else on his campaign were up to the task of conducting a truly multi-faceted, extensive, effective conspiracy with Russia. Well, Bannon and Parscale, maybe, but I've never seen anybody else in that clown show as being up to it.

...is not that big of a factor.

Right now the Trump campaign isn't hands down saying they're not going to work with Russia in 2020 ...

That's enough for impeachment in and of itself !!!

Surely Woodward is sharp enough and informed enough to grasp that obvious fact. All trump was interested in was the piles of dirty money and crooked votes that Russia could deliver. The election was stolen, and that's a crime.

how did they know they needed to hide those 100+ contacts with Russian agents?

I don't think it takes a genius to say, "hey, Vlad baby, if you help me beat Hillary, I'll look (wink wink) at sanctions when I'm president."

Putin, "Donny, remember those girls peeing on the bed in the Moscow hotel? You need to do more thank look at the sanctions."

Donny, "sure Vlad baby, anything for you. You'll destroy the tape afterwards, right?"

to a whole new level.

They never made an exact deal with this for that. Don and Vlad are criminals with a wink and a nod they knew exactly what the other would do.

Donny loved wikikeaks what 161 times during the campaign now he does not even know who they are....

100 contacts but Donny says they never met any russians.

Bob in this case, unlike Nixon it is the crime "Conspiracy" not the coverup ....

Just because Donny acts like a buffoon doesn't mean he didn't do it....He did it...Bob your job is to now inform the public on how why and what he did, Mueller and Barr have muddied the waters to say the least.

that maybe Putin was smart enough to organize a non-committal conspiracy with a man who's weaknesses he knew well? Because if I can get a guy to help me out at every turn because he sees me as a friend, I don't need tacit communication or written confirmation which at best is not needed, and if things don't work out is more likely to become evidence against my actions.

Since the beginning we've been talking about his collusion, his going along with Putin's conspiracy.
Way to miss the point, Bob Woodward!
