*Although since tRump, it has crossed my mind a few times! Since I live in a rural area, there is less urgency for my changing my mindset.

(15,124 posts)or a restaurant make them someone to respect. It is amazing how often these "concealed" weapons get "accidentally" flashed. If they were truly concerned about being attacked at a lunch counter, why would they tip off their assailant about where they carry their protection?
"Punks" might be too mild a word, but I'll leave it at that.

(15,124 posts)was visible, I'd politely tell them---as I would a male---that their permit says "concealed" and they need to comply or I'll call the police to report the violation.
In my community, Mother's Day ads last year featured "concealed carry handbags" with---wait for it---HUGE rhinestone crosses on them. Does that make you wanna upchuck in your Wheaties, or what?
