(102,269 posts)It just seems like a small sample from a biased community. Anyway, I see the count is up!
Have a good night, hithe2b.

(102,269 posts)to try to reclaim the narrative and spin... Seems more likely to me especially after the story BLEW up and his own impeachment is freely being discussed.

(268,997 posts)agree with you - muddy up the works.

(901 posts)...premature. Perhaps the conclusion about Rod is also premature.

(13,524 posts)of actually, totally losing him as a defender of Justice and the American Way is just too much to bear, so Im in denial, and it feels like a really bad breakup, wwannhh
But yeah, we dont KNOW just yet, so I must cling to my bit of hope
Id say if Rosenstein did it , its to increase Muellers credibility as a good guy
Theres more than one scenario possible here than some good guy leaked it.
Heck, good cop bad cop is quite common to get suspects talking.

(102,269 posts)despite a lot of recent sycophantic actions towards Trump and statements to the contrary.
As Maya Angelou says,? When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

(102,269 posts)was surprising since I would have thought that (benefit of the doubt towards Rosenstein) was gone.
In saying that, I clearly am surprised and not in agreement.

(525 posts)you did.
I voted for Rosenstein for the reason I gave above.
Fits right in with the straight arrow bit we heard over and over regarding the FBI .

(102,269 posts)I'd sure like to know what Rosenstein is really all about. He perplexes the heck out of me and I've known many who tried to play both sides of the fence.

(692 posts)to keep quiet, maybe Trump cronies or even the Russians threatened Mueller's family members, IDK.
But for whatever reason, Barr and Moby Don, the Elusive Orange Whale, thought Mueller would keep quiet until called to testify before Congress, where Mueller would answer a lot of questions and make statements that can't be backed up because he gave all the evidence acquired by the team to Barr along with his report...

(20,684 posts)For a future of hearings, and choosing to be out of trump's grasp before details are revealed. Sounds like a good plan. Because everything trump touches dies.

(3,266 posts)as the type to leak a letter. If he wanted to say something publicly, he'd have done so. Barr gains nothing from its release that i can see. My vote (simply because i'm hoping eventually the full, unredacted report will also be leaked) is a staffer who is working to get the info out.
