..Yes, the actors are different, the script is different, and the over all speed of the show is different. But the outcome could be the same. The feel of the show, the sense about it, truth vs lies: it all sounds and feels the same........................................................................
.But, the one thing that is most similar is: Nixon was a crook, and Trump is/was a crook.

Nixon orchestrated the show because of his attitude toward the law...and...
Trump is orchestrating this show...because...of ..Trump's attitude toward the law. ..

The head crook was ..Nixon. He was in charge of the show, and it reflected his values and attitudes.
The head crook is .....Trump. He is in charge of this show, and it reflects his values and attitudes.

That one is in stone and steel. It is the foundation of both. The leader of the show is a crook.

"Back in 1992, the last time Bill Barr was U.S. attorney general, iconic New York Times writer William Safire referred to him as 'Coverup-General Barr' because of his role in burying evidence of then-President George H.W. Bush’s involvement in Iraqgate and Iron-Contra.”

I mean, just as with clip-on suspenders, there are some things a clothes-horse just can't forgive!...
