Why is the dem leadership treating Trump like a normal president?

This Mueller letter/leak, aka a cry for help, was a huge wake-up call and siren to me. We should not be at the WH giving Trump infrastructure deal victories, and normalizing him, when he is so flagarantly destroying democracy and the nation’s own AG is acting as Team Treason’s defence attorney!

We really need our leadership to stand up and protect our Democracy right now and that goes far beyond sternly worded tweets. If they don’t change course, I must regrettably conclude that they are unwilling or unable to hold Trump to account and perhaps we need a leadership shake-up in the Democratic ranks in the House.
