Should be very scared for what he's done, and what he's doing now. It will catch up to him, and he too will be in serious legal troubles soon. He should go to prison for this , or next time this will be much worse.

Put the fear of god in him. We have 2 Democratic candidates on the committee, Klobuchar and Harris. I expect them to give Barr some fire and brimstone or they will drop down a notch on my list for president.

After all this time, we shouldn't underestimate the lure of illegal activities to those drawn to the Trump White House; it's been a complete explanation for crooks seeking cabinet posts, certainly.

But it also could be fatal to underestimate the determination of vast RW powers to take and keep power. Every time someone seems to do something this blatantly illegal, I can't help worrying that they know something we don't and believe a takeover will protect and reward them.

Mostly middle-of-the-night worries, of course. When the sun's up I know stupidity and belief they'll get away with it has been shown to be rampant in these types, and I mostly just worry that they'll make deals and be proven mostly right.
