That, to me, is a pretty good indication he was lying.
trump did a good job in picking his sycophantic/ass-kissing lawyer.

of the greatest crime in American history covered up.

Klobuchar and Harris. If they don't bring fire and brimstone to Barr they can kiss their presidential aspirations goodbye. I expect both of them to call for Barr's resignation.

Wish Al Franken was still on that committee.

He waited a while before he really jumped in...THEN: always confident and asked pertinent, thoughtful questions, and more than held his own. He didn't make the mistake of jumping in too soon and be labeled "ex-comedian" by detractors. It was obvious he belonged where he was. It's a lesson which a few of the more controversial new congress people should have absorbed before courting criticism right away.

A stupid, stupid mistake by the Democratic leadership of the senate. Chuck Schumer showed poor leadership and allowed the Democratic caucus in the Senate to be manipulated.

His eyes are in constant motion, almost like he is watching the reaction of the other panel members during this segment. Is he a DOJ staffer? He certainly shows concern about something. We don't see him while Crist is speaking and not all of the time while Barr is speaking.

12. Question to Bob Mueller when he eventially comes before Congressional Committees:

May 2019

Did you or any member of your staff prepare summaries of the various bodies of the report that were already appropriately redacted for release to the AG's office, Congress or the American people?

If the answer is yes that will further confirm Barr's perjury before Congress when he claimed that none of it has been redacted.

I would members of the SC office testify to refute Barr's claims against them.

If we manage to throw Dump out in 2020 and Dump does not pardon lying Bill, hopefully statute of limitations will still be ticking for prosecution.

Plus hopefully Dump and his family will have committed felony crimes after he took the oath of office and they can be prosecuted.

and trying to soft-pedal as much as possible.

This man's ruined a reputation he built for years, created a whole new legacy of shame that will live on in thick history books (although in worst case not in this country), and is at risk of literally going to prison. He's walking proof to me of a "vast right wing conspiracy" that he's among many in serving (including our former #s 1 and 2 in the FBI) and that he hopes will take control our government in time to protect him from consequences.

He nailed him on substance, and he also has a much-superior, low-key style.

His delivery, deliberate pauses, and occasional reflections of what Barr said--comments that demonstrate he is listening carefully---are the marks of a pro.

Barr looked like a high schooler compared to Crist. A polished turd compared to a polished, dedicated public servant like Crist.

Thanks, Malaise, I have a much better appreciation of Crist from watching him "eat Barr's lunch". And then having Barr thank him for it.

THAT'S the mark of a true pro.

Yet he summarized the report into a four page letter.

Also he ends up stating that he just put out a bottom line conclusion... That's even worse than a summary!! You just interjected your own thoughts as a conclusion!! Does he not hear how ridiculous he sounds?!

They are seriously all arguing like five year olds! This is child psychology...

Barr is so all over the map with what should have been a simple & quickly delivered yes or no answer. Gee, ya think the White House didn't get a look-see before Barr released his letter? And what about the Trumpian tone of the press release Barr gave before he released the letter?
