of questioning. He does a great job at his hearings. I bet he's fun to be around, out and about. I just get a real good feeling from him. Almost always.

Stepping in after Joe Lieberman beat liberal Republican Lowell Weicker to become a Senator.

He was also a US attorney way back under Carter.

The only criticism of him when he was AG of Connecticut was that he was sometimes too quick to rush out in front of the cameras.. but, isn't that true of most politicians?
