Blumenthal then asked if there were notes taken of the conversation.

Barr said that the conversation was on speakerphone in front of several people including Rosenstein and that notes were taken.

When Blumenthal asked if they could have the notes, Barr answered No.

Blumenthal: Why not?

Barr: Why should you?

omg.....Such arrogance.
BC A SENATOR in a hearing asked you for it, and it goes to the heart of the matter. Not sure an Atty Gens notes and staffs notes are protected as work product, if he's supposed to be working on all our behalf.

Damm the decorum. I would have stepped down from the dais and slapped him. I would not be able to keep my cool with arogant assholes like him.
