The republican majority in the House and minority in the Senate are violating their oath of office, period.

The complacency, refusal to bring things to vote, obstruction, lying, etc are ALL acts that are directly against the oath to preserve & protect the Constitution.

I'm not talking about voting them out, I'm talking about more than censure...but what?

What is the recourse of the PEOPLE when and entire portion of their government has PROVEN themselves incapable of real governance?

Would resurrecting Anonymous/Occupy do any good? WTF? How that hell do we get out of this before it's too late?

Or is it too late?

Please talk me down, I am about to have an aneurysm....

It's so frustrating, because the rule of law *does* take time, but I want some asses to get kicked!!! I'm to that point of either shutting down or going into rage. I don't want to end up like the MAGAs who would just as soon shoot everyone they don't agree with. But I honestly am to some point of breaking!

There are many parallels to our situation in those stories.

I don’t know the answer, yet, but I do know that these times bring out the latent archetypes in the best, and the worst, of us.

...lesson for kids. Ever since I read it in the first edition, I have crossed my fingers that somehow a vital subset of her young readers would absorb it and remember. There is no "magic" to Resistance -- but there is planning and solidarity and much else.

What if the DNC got Spielberg or Cameron to make a 3-minute ad where all the real players today are portrayed in Harry Potter roles? That might really click a nerve.
How about a Saturday Night Live skit?
Why not a full-length feature film called Avengers: For Reals—where every lie, crime, betrayal, act of love, and heroic deed has a special effect. Aren’t those the real superpowers after all?

Treason has a very specific definition. Sedition is probably closer; its definition is much broader and more applicable.

Sadly, for most of them, voting them out is the most viable solution.
