When you've lost Joe Manchin....

https://www-m.cnn.com/2019/05/01/politics/democrats-support-barr-reevaluating/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2FHOywD4CeEY
"West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, one of three centrist Democrats who voted to confirm Attorney General William Barr, told CNN Wednesday he would reevaluate his support for Barr if he determines the attorney general spun the findings from special counsel Robert Mueller, as many Democrats charge.

"That would definitely change my approach and opinion and also my thought process about how I got to where I got to," he said in an interview.

Manchin said he watched part of Barr's appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee and now would like Mueller to testify so he can compare their testimony.

"I think everyone agrees that Mueller is a straight shooter and beyond reproach. He's not shooting anybody's bullets for any particular reason or political agenda," Manchin said. "I would like to think Mr. Barr is doing the same. And if those two are in conflict, I will make my own decision from there."

(And fuck Joe Manchin for voting to confirm that corrupt, compromised SOB in the first place)

"Well IF he blew his testimony and IF Mueller says anything to counter then I might sign a strong letter of disapproval of him."

2. A little late to be "reevaluating his support" . . . . he fucking voted for him.

Maybe he can go do something useful, like an appearance at a Susan Collins fundraiser.

That's the new term for placing someone in office who is obviously a sycophantic bullshittery expert. "Confirm" carries too much official weight for what happened. No, this is chgongirming our way to kakistocracy.

Edit: Aw, you edited it while I was typing. I seriously like the original better.

9. I liked it too, once I noticed it! Sounds vaguely Korean to me, but I had to change it. Why doesn't

Autocorrect notice that type of thing, but always tries to change GOP to HOP every time I type it?

There has to be an election strategy somewhere at the DNC and SDRC that says if we're not gonna take the majority on that ONE SEAT, we should probably try our damdest to put in the most rabid liberal we can find, because what's the difference if we lose it ...

Do you have to be hit in the face with a 2 by 4 to come to that conclusion ?

You really need to do a little research on nominees, pally. William Barr has been a Republican bag man for decades. If you want to pretend you didn't know nothin' 'bout pardoning no war criminals, that's more on you than anyone else. Barr's in position to do a lot of damage to the Constitution and the country, and YOU helped put him there. Fuckhead.
