I turned on the TV for the first time today and there's Trump talking in the rose garden at the White House.
It sounds like he is doing a bad impersonation of some shitty lounge act.
They must have an applause light for the audience.

(22,976 posts)Its beyond anything Ive ever learned or known. 45 is like kryptonite to me, just toxically repulsive. I cant possibly count the multiple ways in which this atavistic freak has embarrassed or enraged me. But what do his supporters see? How do they perceive him as something positive? Why are they so comfortable with an authoritarian state, when theyve cried for decades about less government?
Simply possessing a grade-school-level sense of decency and fair play should inform one that things are going in a very dark, very wrong direction.
