It's a branch of government that Trump is already trying to destroy. Why would Dems want to have any part in that?

Now that trump has Barr as his Micheal Cohen in the AG position , he can now be his personal fixer for him, and go after anyone who question his authority , and tries to hold his accountable, or runs against him. Exactly like putin does in Russia, and again no surprise here from trump. Corruption at the highest level this country ha ever seen.

I have friends who still believe our democracy is too strong to fail. I know I'm a cynic but their view seems very Pollyanna-ish to me.

There's a reason a Blue Wave swept the land but surprisingly it has been nuetered (?) bc we just....couldnt get, the Senate. (You know we won that too. Can I prove it? No. But a wholeee lotta years of being politically active has my hackles up...for a few years now.) Nevermind that every special election, since the election, shows folks want Ds. That pesky Senate, funny how that worked out.
