Trump's only chance in 2020---besides Russian hacking---is to divide us, FULL STOP.
The basket of deplorables will still vote for Dear Leader, but damn few others will.
He must attack anyone and everyone who stands a snowball's chance in hell of beating him. He will not be trying to persuade people to vote for him; he will be trying to make them so disgusted with the eventual Democratic nominee that they will either cast "protest" or "send a message" votes---or just stay home.
ANY vote for ANY candidate who is not the Democratic nominee "IS" a vote for Trump!
I apologize for the "Captain Obvious" nature of this post, but some need to hear it again and again.
