This is why millions of Americans went to the polls six months ago and installed a Democratic majority in the House. We want something different from what the Republicans have been doing. Democratic proposals are quite popular with the people, yet the timidity of the Democratic caucus keeps these issues in the background. Get out there and advocate for universal health care, or at least the Medicare expansion. Talk up raising the minimum wage. It pisses off the wealthy who, like the president, would prefer to have slave labor doing their work. Let's make it clear those days are over, hopefully forever.
