Just because they're more conservative than most Dems doesn't mean they can't also be moderate. It's all relative.

Jones, in particular, is relatively liberal, especially in a place like Alabama. He's probably to the left of moderates like Ben Nelson.

Doesn't make his decision on Barr any better, but one decision also doesn't a conservative make.

I don't necessarily agree about Manchin, but having somebody with a 'D' after their name is better than the alternative. AT LEAST they give us more numbers even if they want to be assholes.
